Hey, I have a MIM strat, and ever since I have owned it (almost a year) periodically the input jack has become loose, after about 5 or 6 plugins/unplugs. When this happens, I just take a a crescent wrench and tighten it, but my question is, is there anything I can do to get this problem fixed? And also, I heard a rumor that this is common with the mexican standards, is it? Thanks

Mine has never came loose. What you could do is once you get it tight, put a little dab of superglue on it, so that it touches the edge of the nut and the threads. It'll hold, plus if you ever have to take it off, it'll pop loose with no problem.

Or you could try some Loc-tite, but I think the superglue would be your best bet.

You really need to take it out and tightin it,, your twisting the wires inside ,, and they will eventually break contact.
