Does anyone know how the USA Sambora pickguard was wired? What was used for the button to activate the boost? And is anyone on here able to wire one for me for a set price?

P.S. when I say USA Sambora, I mean the original USA Sambora model.

Thanks! = )

Contact Fender. It appears that both of the links on the Fender service diagrams site for the Sambora US and Mex models bring up the same schematic, and it is the Mex version.

Go to Fenders site and go to support diagram then Stratocaster service diagram and look for Richie Sambora. They should have a wire diagram and a part list for the pots, capacitor and so on. Find the parts and wire it

Hey thanks for the pointers guys! I saw that the schematic on the fender site was for the mexican model.....so I wasn't sure if anybody on here owned the original USA model one and knew how it was wired, that way I could just pay them to wire one up for me. I don't really have much skill in the area of wiring up my own pickups and not sure I'd be able to handle it without messing something up along the line.

I believe there was a 12db boosting circuit board in there, and it looks like its got the battery connection aswell (by the schematic). Before you get someone to wire it up for you, please think about where you would house the electronics and battery inside your guitar. I would hate for you to get that work done and then have to go to town on your axe to fit the components in.

You're welcome. And yes, I do know someone who is capable... You're reading his post right now. As to a fair labor price, what is your idea of same? You can PM me if you wish.
