I recently acquired a Jeff Beck Strat when using the tremolo the bottom E string goes out of tune! The string goes slightly sharp. To reposition the tuning with finger in the 2nd fret I pull down the string across to the D string.
Any advise would be appreciated on how to resolve this.

On if my reasons for wanting a JB strat was its tremolo system!

The E strings stucks in the nut. One way is to rub a pencil in the nut slot or you can use an old E string and slide it back and forth to widen the slot just a little bit.
Don´t overdo it.

Cheers,
Robin

EDIT: Sorry, that´s for a normal Strat. Anyway having the LSR Roller Nut you can use the pencil trick, my best guess is the low E slot roller mechanism stucks.
