Is it possible to convert a Deluxe player Strat into a Delta or no load tone?
Wha would it entail?

Of course, it's possible. You could either make the existing pot(s) no-load(s) or you could by the no-load(s) pot(s) already made. Regardless, the guitar's wiring doesn't change. If you want to make them yourself, here's a decent link:
