Trying to get a sense of fret sizes.
On the new Strats, when they are marked Medium Jumbo, is that the same as 6130?
And then Jumbo would be 6150?

My old faithful Strat is from 1977, so, as strange a period as that was in Strat history, would that model be "vintage" enough to be the 6230s?

I'm thinking about having it refretted and trying to decide if I should go with a different fret size. Seems like the 6105s are popular; any idea of any guitars that come with that size that I could try?

Thanks in advance.

The Stevie Ray Vaughan sig Strat comes with Dunlop 6105 frets It's a popular enough guitar that a store may have one in stock (The Guitar Center's by me usually have one) If not check out the American Special strats they have "Jumbo" frets whereas the 6105 is labeled a "Narrow Jumbo" either one should give you a feel for the difference the "Jumbo/Narrow" Jumbo and the "Medium Jumbo" that come standard on most other strats

That was a really nice info sheet. I didn't realize that the medium jumbo is the lowest fret wire.
But whats really weird is now that I hit the back button from that German Fender site, everything on this site is in German except what I'm typing. Very strange.
