Hey, i have just bought a Fender American Deluxe, with a Deluxe Tremelo snap in arm etc. How do you take out the trem arm effectivly as i find it hard removing it without using excessive force? Many Thanks

It will break in after a while. It's also possible that the setscrew is too tight. If you push down on the trem arm then look on the back of the block you'll see a set screw. One of the allen wrenches that came with the guitar should fit and allow you to back it off just a little (less than 1/4 turn). That may help some.

The set screw is important to know about because over time you may find that the arm becomes loose and flops around, possibly even falling out - this happened to me - and I didn't know about the set arm until I inquired like you did in the forum last week.
