Terry,

According to the Guitar Dater Project...your guitar serial number would mean...Your guitar was made at the Fullerton Plant (Fender - CBS Era), USA in the Year(s): 1974.

Pics would help a bit more, but this is a pretty close date, if you want a closer date, pull the neck off and see what is stamped on the end.
