has anyone noticed how the Squire Stratocaster's "g" string always goes out of tune when you bend it up?is there any way to fix this?

yeah thats the one, not the guitar's issue.

read Ernie Ball at Wikipedia.... it talks of the "slinky" G string.
thought it was interesting piece of guitar string trivia.

Use better strings and stretch them properly when installing.

I agree on the string quality. String it with nothing less than the strands of Christ's own flowing locks.
And if you can't manage that, there's always the drums.
