Hi everyone,

been playing an acoustic for a few years now, and decided to get a Strat as well and start playing it. Been looking for an USA made one for a while now, kinda hard when having no experience at all.

Came across this auction recently, and I am thinking of going for that one, but need to know other opinion first. The auction has ended with no bids and I am in contact with the seller. Could you please give me your opinion on this guitar regarding to quality, value and etc? It is quite a bit of money and dont want to make a mistake.

Will appreciate any comments at all.

It is what it is -- a used AVRI '62 in Inca Silver, with a few "battle scars". The OEM 57/62 pickups have been swapped out in favor of the Custom Shop 69's, hand-wound and initialled by Abigail Ybarra. As new, the guitar likely would've shipped from Corona in a period-correct brown Tolex G&G hard-shell case. Here in the colonies, such an instrument in that condition (with the HSC) would sell for $1200-$1450. These Strats look, play, and sound sweet and represent solid value.
