MIM - Made in Mexico
NAD - New Amp Day
NGD - New Guitar Day
AVRI - American Vintage Re-issue
MIJ - Made in Japan
HRR - Hot Rod Re-issue

Universally understood is the acronym "POS".

Welcome aboard!

You'll see pup(s) for pickup(s).

Much more can be found using the search tool.

GAS (gear acquisition syndrome) was one I couldn't figure out for a long time. But I didn't want to look too dumb, so I never asked but figured it out after a while.

Right, right. Ok gentlemen, I really appreciate the explanations. I am accustomed to having GAS. I have known about that one a long time, and it just never seems to go away. It is constant. Good thing it doesn't have an odor like the other one, for I would have no friends!

We've all had GAS, at one time or another. That's why we have no $money$!!!!

I've not heard anyone mention MIA (Made In America)

or IMO (In My Opinion)

or GMD (Guitar Modification Disorder)

I know man. After I pay the bills, the food, the vehicular gas, and make the family happy, my little side pocket money, which is reserved for GAS, is never enough. But there are times when I let my GAS money build up, especially when I have my eye on something.

I know the feeling. Been saving mine up and I'm now hunting for a good Tele, to go with my Strat.
