a beautiful guitar... looks like my vm strat ... i love tortoise shell on white... is that arctic white or olympic white?

Thanks I really love it..plays like a, well a Fender Strat!!! The color is actually "Olympic Pearl" in the pic's it looks like a dark shade of white but it's really not, depending on how you look at it sometimes I see gold in it other times silver...It really is a excellent color. Nice job Fender!!! I'll try and post a pic that show the color a little better....

my 2008 Olympic Pearl Am. Dlx. Strat seems to change colors with the lighting (mostly a brownish) I think from the pickgaurd...Im not really to happy with it in some lighting.

as far as the wife goes.....a happy wife is a happy home....you could always do what I did...after 27 years of marrage (owning a few cheaper guitars) I told the wife I was getting back into music...my wife told me I could get two guitars....I have 5 strats now (plan on getting one more this year) all because I said I wanted to leave one for each of the grandkids.....she came up with "what if they dont want to play guitar?" so after the next strat I plan on getting other stuff... keyboards, basses (I have one Ibanez SR750) and drums...and it keeps her happy ....with & grandkids right now, all I hope for is more
