Hey everybody,

recently a friend of a friend went Buddhist and decided he was going to give any his possessions. So he gave my friend ( who in return gave to me ) a 1985 Japanese Fender Stratocaster. After a bit of research I realize this is a pretty sweet guitar and at the best price, free.

Problem:

I'm missing 2 pieces, the actually whammy bar , and the nut. I have parts to the part, basically the pin and 2 rollers, the other 2 rollers and locking arm are gone and only Buddha knows where they are now. So, I really would like to get this guitar back together and rock it , does anybody know where I can find these pieces, and please don't tell me e-bay because that's what every guitar store/website or whatever I've contacted as told me and E-bay has not had what I'm looking for.

Other than that, I don't want to change the entire tremolo system, if I have to replace a piece I'd rather get a new nut, so what kind of nut would fit on this guitar?

It's a 1985 Japanese Contemporary Fender Stratocaster and I want to rock with it.

Which configuration you're using? SSS, HSS or HH?
