The American Standard has *import* string spacing. 54mm.

Or to go with Gibson spacing (52mm) you need something like this, or a Mexican Standard bridge.

I'm not sure what the spacing on the Highway1 is. I'm pretty sure it's 54mm.

In retrospect the term import spacing is a bit daft eh?

Yeah it does, though in reality I've never had a problem with a gibson spaced humbucker on a vintage size strat. I've certainly never heard the difference. I think it's more to do with people being concerned with how polepieces line up underneath strings. Which when you think about it doesn't make any difference. The magnetic field of a humbucker doesn't work like it does with a strat.

So anyways you know that it's 52mm spacing you're after. I think you may have a bit of a problem finding a way of going down in size. It's as much to do with where the intonation and string holes are drilled in the tremplate and the tremblock as it is saddle width.
Which leaves you with the problem of sourcing a whole new trem assembly. Depending on your guitars current spacing/trem.

What guitar are we talking about here Ralf?
I think you may have to resort to fitting a Mexican Standard trem.
