The Dave Murray strat:
H/S/H
http://www.fender.com/fr-FR/products/se ... 0118802806
But in "american standard" and "american deluxe" there is only version with one humbucker ( H/S/S) and the Dave Murray strat is more expansive (about 2000 bucks)

how about big apple strat ?
try to googling it
i dont know it much boy, i just know, big apple is strat which made in USA and use 2 humbuckers

how about s1 switching in amdeluxe ?
it simulates sound of humbucker/single coil sized humbucker (seymour duncan hot rails, etc) or just give some bass and bright ?

You are correct that there currently isn't an American Strat with double humbucker pickups. The American Standards are routed HSH so you could replace the pickguard and pickups. I'm not knocking the blacktop set, but you could also put something together with whatever pickups you wanted.

In terms of used Strat there were USA-built double humbucker Strats made from 1996 through 2006. There were 3 versions:

1996 through mid-2000: Big Apple Strat - an American Standard with a Duncan Pearly Gates Plus in the bridge spot and a Duncan '59 in the neck spot.

mid-2000 through mid-2003: American Series Double Fat Strat - in July 2000 the American Standards were replaced by the American Series, which had several updates. The "American Series Double Fat Strat" had the upgrades to body, neck, and hardware plus had the Duncan Pearly Gates Plus/Duncan '59 pickups like the Big Apple Strat.

mid-2003 through 2006: American HH Strat - in July/August 2003 the guitar was updated with Fender pickups and S-1 switching. I think these were discontinued at the end of 2006. I know they were discontinued before the entire American Series was replaced by the current American Standards in January 2008.

Hope that helps.

I think it's the better solution.
There is no american strat H/H in production now.
Keep all the system of your blacktop (the potmeters are calibrat for the power of humbucker not the potmeters of an American Standard) change the color of the pickguard and the pickups if you want.

The s1 switch can't simulate the power of a humbucker (you need an active system for that).

I'd recommend trying to find either a clean Big Apple or Hot-Rodded American Series. The pickups are awesome, and they have a unique 5-way switching system. Great sounds. 8)
