What's the deal with the Mustang amps? They're solid state aren't they? Are they something like the G-DEC amps?

No critisizm to the OP here, but I wouldn't go to the trouble of buying a Masterbuilt Clapton Strat to play it through a solid state amp.

Probably didn't have enough cash left over after buying a Masterbuilt to afford a 57 Twin Reissue. :(

Be kind, be kind. Let the guy enjoy his guitar, and have something to GAS over in future. :wink: Maybe there's someone in his family the likes of Airborne Strat's wife. :idea:
.....or mine...f'rinstance. Nothing like opening the front door and finding a Les Paul Heritage Custom Shop Elegant, Triburst Quilt-top sitting in the entry foyer, its case tied with a black and white bow.....just because you happened to point it out on hanging on the wall the day before. Ya never know. There maybe a '57 Twin on his horizon and he doesn't know it.
