It's a 2010 - the first two digits of the number are "10".

Fender changed the serial number system last year, dropping the "letter + number" format (where Z9 = 2009, N7 = 1997, etc.). For the first 3-4 months they just used a "10" prefix for the serial number on the USA-built guitars, then sometime around April/May of last year they started using a "US10" prefix. The "10" prefix typeface was virtually the same as the other 6 digits; when they switched to the "US10" they used a bolder typeface so you can clearly see that it is a prefix. When they started using the "10" numbers they stopped using the extra "D" on the American Deluxe models and the extra "S" on the Artist signature guitars.

There were never any MIM guitars with just a "10"; they change over mid-year so Fender went from the old-style "MZ9" numbers to the new "MX10" numbers in July or so.

Guitar-wise a Fender with a "10XXXXXX" number could be an American Standard, an American Special, a Highway 1 or an American Deluxe.

Glad to help; all of these guitar dating sites (including the info here on the Fender site) have yet to catch up to the current dating system.
