I just bought Squier HM Series. I had bought one in the 80's and had it up until three or four years ago. My kids broke the neck on it in the mid 90's, I replaced the neck and changed just about every componet on that guitar. I finally used it as a trade in on another guitar. I had been looking for another Squier HM series guitar with the orginal neck ever since.

I was browsing through the Guitar Center used gear and found a black one. I inquired about the guitar. $88 plus shipping so all together $115. I talked to the sales guy and he says everything works on it. It is missing the tremolo bar, but I have mine from my orginal Squier HM.

I bought it as a project guitar anyways, but it would be a bonus if everything still worked the way it is supposed to. But considering this guitar is at least 22 years old, I am sure I will have to replace something. I should have it in a week or two and I will post pics when I get it.

It is finally here. It looks a little rough, but with some elbow greese and some time, I can whip this guitar into shape. I will post pics some time this weekend once I have a chance to clean it up a bit. It is a lot lighter than I remember. It screams Metal especially with lots of distortion. I forgot how good the pickups are on this guitar. I need to dust out the pots, they crackle a bit.
