Can anyone tell me what the thickness of the neck is at the first and twevth fret. I know it's a c shape with a 9.5 radius, but trying to guage the thinkness compared to my American Strat or the AVRI 62 Hot Rod. Also, I plan to buy the neck to put onto a roadworn 60's strat body. It should fit, right? Thanks in advance, Bill

i can't give specifics, but i did play a robert cray strat and classic series and classic player strats the other day and i can definately say that it was similar to the classic series 60s, albeit slightly deeper from fretboard to back, and i think is based on his vintage silver 60s strat. it was not as wide as and fat feeling as the classic player strats which felt closer to an american standard in shape (more modern)
