Hello!

I just bought a used American standard (so the headstock says) made in 1996, and i was wondering if this is made in usa?

Looks like a mexican to me! And the body is coted first with candy apple red, then black (dont know if this is usual)

The sticker in the neck pocket says: "R" "6162481" see the pictures.
You can also see a thin paper strip glued to the side of the neck pocket.

what about the body? alot of holes dont you think?

Yeah the neck looks like a genuine '96, correct digits and 50th sticker and all. Front: 2 string trees and all..so yeah pre 2000 American Standard.

The body:
2-point tremolo?
3 ply pickguard?
