The guy in the middle, this is the first strat I ever bought. I got it in 1980 and it was about a year old then. The blue isn't Daphne or Sonic, so it could be Lake Placid if it is a flat color i.e. not metalic?

PS I'm not necessarily religious, those 3 letters just got rescued from a skip.

I like the sound of Maui Blue, where could I see the international Color series.

I wish I could find a better pic. They were offered from 1979-1981 if I remember correctly or sometime in there

Yogi, your international series led me to this which is down as Monaco Blue but as you say later, Monaco was the yellow colour.

Actually that is Maui Blue under a different light. Monaco was the yellow color

the colors were "capri orange, maui blue, sahara taupe, monaco yellow, morocco red, cathay ebony, a couple of sunbursts and artic white."
