My Strat is a 50th anniversary American deluxe ash, tobacco sunburst.
Does someone know if this is a real one, and how many of
this model has been made by Fender.
This one has only a 50th anniversary neckplate, not the
usual but with a curve, it has also a S1.
This strat is not mentioned in the Frontline catalogue, and I bought it
new from the guitarshop.

If it's real it will have the 50th anniversary logo in gold on the pickguard, and all gold hardware. The only finish is the two color sunburst (Fender #03), the serial number for a deluxe should start w/ DZ4, and the deluxes were spec'd with the alder bodies not ash. The position markers are MOP. The American series and Custom shop models had ash bodies, silver hardware, and no MOP markers. Here's a link to description and a pictures of all three:
http://namm.harmony-central.com/WNAMM04 ... trats.html

In short, it's not a real one as you've described it if it's a deluxe.

Thanks for the comments and information.
But still I'm not satisfied.
The reason is that my 50th anniversary Strat, started with
DZ4 in the ser.number.
The hardware is the usual chrome, not goldplated.
The pos.markers are abalone.
This model is actually an American deluxe Ash, and is showen
on page 36 Frontline 2004.
How is it possible, did Fender made a mistake or did they
made some guitars with this beautiful neckplate.
The right answer, please, so I can sleep well.

Not sure if this answers your question, but the Am Deluxe models have a "sculpted heel" which means one corner of the neck pocket has been shaved to allow for easier access to the upper register...

Because of that, the neckplate is different.

This is a feature, and one that I believe makes the Deluxe superior to the American Standard.

It's possible that Fender put the 50th neckplate on everything that year and thus created confusion for everyone and an opportunity for dealers to exploit that by passing off regular 2004 models as the commemorative ones. What case did it come with? The Am Dlx commemoratives came with a tweed case that had orange plush lining and an embroidered "50th Anniversary" logo on the inside of the lid. As somebody suggested, maybe call customer service and ask them to check the serial number? I doubt that they'll step in here and contribute. Interestingly too MF still has left handers for sale: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=511016

I have both 5oth anniversary strats the Am and the Am Deluxe and IIRC they were only availale in 3-color sunburst. I think it's this way bacause in 1954, colors had not yet been introduced by Fender.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

It has the 50th stamp on the pickguard, 50th neck plate, locking tuners, SCN pickups and S-1 switching, Fender Stratocaster name on the headstock is in gold.

2 color burst not three, there's no red in it, just black and yellow.

This ones mine:
