GC is the only store around me (granted, even that's a bit of a drive) that offers any substantial collection of decent gear. So if I want a good selection I'll head there, but I would do my research beforehand so they can't steer you in the wrong (read: expensive) direction.

Hey matt3310...
What an awsome looking Strat custom paint job!! :D I'm referring to the flame effect one! I love the matching headstock as well. In the process of getting a 2004 standard Strat done in Eric Clapton's Crash 3 with Dimarzio replacements pups as well. Can I ask which Dimarzios you have used?

I wish there were some way to show the 3D wood grain in the transparent flames. I'm going to get a photographer who does freelance work for us to shoot my guitars one of these days.

Mine are not quite as exotic as some on here. This was a Midnight Blue that was in terrible shape. I stripped it and refinished it in Graffiti Yellow:

I really like these Strats! I assume they are FSR Strats and must be pretty rare.

Really cool finish super kid, although just to clarify, the Copper Burst Metallic isn't exclusive to GC I've seen it at at least 3 other stores..and at AMS online.. sweet finish though

Well then the people at my GC are DIRTY LIARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, SK! Don't feel too bad. Our local GC only got ONE of those guitars in and I looked at it a couple of times, but didn't buy it. I think it is still hanging around there. Maybe I should go pick it up after all... 8)

Yea, Mine is... Clear coated. It was originally black. But black is so boring, so I sanded off the top coat and was left with the poly-underwear. It still has all of the original cracks and dings, but actually looks nice.
