I have a classic player strat with "Vintage Style 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Stamped Steel Saddles". I love how low the tremolo arm is to the body as opposed to the 6-screw Vintage Style Synchronized Tremolo where the bar arm sits much higher. Because of my playing style, I tend to hold on to the bar most of the time while picking.

My question is:
Is there a difference between the standard 2-Point Tremolo's as installed on American Strats and "Vintage Style 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo" on the classic player strat? In other words, is the height of the arm on an American Strat 2-Point tremolo as high as those on 6-screw Vintage Style tremolos?
