I was looking at JV Stratocaster made in Japan to buy but which ones are better? and some are real high on price too. Thanks

The MIJ/CIJ "Premium Vintage" re-issue series are some of the finest instruments offered by Fender, regardless of country-of-origin. This line features vintage-spec hardware with steel trem blocks, Texas Special pickups (usually), and period-correct alder or ash bodies. The fit and finish is superb. And yes, I own one -- a '65 re-issue in Lake Placid Blue. They're definitely worth the "price of admission" IMO.

+1 Excellent guitars from Japan...I have had a '54 Esquire for years and it was my main guitar for a couple years and although not a Strat it is nontheless and fantastic playing, sounding, and well built guitar...
