Was helping a friend in search of a Midnight Wine Strat and found this beauty on Craigslist. I polished her up, put on new strings, a bit of lemon oil on the fretboard, a quick truss-rod adjustment, set intonation and action. My friend is ecstatic with it. Once it was all setup it really plays like a dream. I thought the pickups sounded excellent as well...really nice through my Class 5. The color is very cool and changes quite a bit in different light.

Not a bad deal at $280 with gigbag, tuner, stand, and a small Crate practice amp and a nice big bag of picks thrown in. It is a 2008 so it also has the better full size trem block.

Nice find, buddy! I also recently bought a Strat, Surf Green body and maple fretboard. Needs set up but dang she wails already. Kudos!

What a beauty and what a bargain!I have a Midnight Wine Tele and she's beautiful too,Midnight Wine is a very rich and striking colour.Great find!

Where is the whammy bar???

Nice looking-I have a question.

What is the difference between the truss rod of that and a new mex standard strat? and how does that affect anything?
