Wyoming T/A, how do you like the PRS's? I had a saleman tell me he loves the PRS's, but I hand to have a American made Fender First...

They're very different animals. I have a 2003 Artist Pack Singlecut Trem and two Strats, one Lone Star and one Am Dlx HSS.

The PRS is a more 'effortless' guitar and has a very clear, full tone. It plays like an absolute dream and, in 6 years of ownership and over 400 live shows, it's never snapped a string or gone out of tune. Plus they're just wall art when you're not playing them.

The Strats make you work for your music, and they have more of a characterful sound. When I play them, I feel more inventive... and the range of sounds is far more interesting, especially on the Lone Star.

Looks though... you decide which looks best.
