Dimensions for neck heels and pockets are relatively standardized for all FMIC instruments. The only difficulty I've ever had when swapping parts around that are sourced from different plants were the MIJ/CIJ components (likely due to that whole pesky "metric business") and in those rare cases, some minor "hand massaging" quickly solved the issue. You shouldn't have any problems mating a MIA neck to an MIM body, or vice versa.

Fender doesn't sell necks. The only way to legally get a neck with the Decals on it is to buy a used one from Ebay, and you are going to pay around 300 or more for just the neck there. There are licensed Neck makers with the correct shape but they won't have the decals.

At that price, the sale will often included installed tuners and a string tree as well.

I buy them that way all the time (I've assembled over a dozen "parts-o-casters").
