The little dents and dings are what give our guitars a little personality and character. Don't let it bother you.

My advise is to just leave it alone.

Well you could take the guitar and smack him over the head with it lol. But honestly there is not to much that can be done. The first thing you need to do is find the same color paint in the store. If it is dented in you can go to Home Depot and get wood filler. I would drill/grind out all the paint in the dent and then put wood filler in and smooth it out as best I can. Once it dries, paint over the wood filler, and paint over just a little of the real paint. It will never look perfect but it should make it look better. Sorry to hear about the new guitar mishap, I have a dent in one of my guitars that bothers me.

I should smack him with it....
See guitars is just polished over natural wood so the ding is in
the clear coat....I am hoping that i am explaining myself in right way....
It would probably just need to be filled with little bit of that clear
coat and buffed out.....
Guitar is only few months old and that's why i am so picky about it....
It is a pure beauty

If the ding is just in the finish, it should wear down as the finish wears down. If not I don't know what to tell you, I kinda like little nicks though.

dont try to fix it, your bound to make it worse, in time you'll learn to accept it

Here is one of my crazy ideas...(You guys tell me if i am nuts)
I was thinking to find that Fender's "F" letter made out of metal
and imprint it over this ding....but carefuly.....If succesfull it
would make it realy cool otherwise it would be a disaster....
:D

I hope i am expressing myself correctly and you guys understand
what i am trying to say

Yes, you are nuts!! Just leave it alone and play it. It's not a museum piece, it's a guitar!

I agree. You should see the amount of dents my P-Bass has. It is a constant reminder of the gigs, fun and history of the Bass. My nephews love to ask me "Tell me how you got that dent again?"

"Scars are there to remind you that the past is real"

Yeah man, the guitar is ruined. Send it to me and I'll donate it to some deserving guitar player.

Should I tell him about the "Guitar Recycling Program"?
