After being at my best friend's house for what seemed like lifetime time I finally brought my '01 Clapton Strat home.

He and I don't to hang out a lot so we finally took the guitar apart and completed some much needed work.
1. Replaced the volume pot.
2. Cleaned out all the gunk that seems to build up under the pick guard.
3. Took a little sand paper to the neck to smooth out the rough spots where the finished chipped away from age.

I noticed some changes with age.
1. The neck has darkened.
2. Suprisingly there's no change in the paint between the exposed body and body under the pick guard.
3. The pick guard is not so white (aged a bit).
4. The Lace Sensors have yellowed in some spots.
5. As I said before the finish on the neck has chipped away in a few spots.
6. There's a small crack in the paint where the neck joins the body. It was always there, but it's become a little bigger.

Over all the guitar is really beginning to show some real relicing character and I've missed playing it greatly.
