Hey guys! I have a guitar that I put together. It has a floyd rose tremelo on it and I have never put strings on one before! How hard is it to do this? It's a Strat shaped body with a recessed floyd rose. I put a hockey stick neck on it cause that was all I had, maybe someday I will change it to a Strat shaped neck. But anyway, any help you could give would be amazing!

Thanks!

Hi, here are a few of the results I got when I typed 'Floyd Rose setup' in to google:

http://www.blues4kids.com/special_promo ... _howto.htm

http://www.glowingtubes.com/p/FloydTuning.htm

There were lots more.

Mark,

Thanks for the reply!! It helped. I will try to post a picture of it tomorrow for everyone to see. It's got a great Fender sound to it. I may end up putting some actual fender noisless pups in it. The pups that are in it now sound real close to my MIA Strat pups. I am going to change the pickgaurd to an aged guard I thiink and then some aged pup covers. Sounds good though! Thanks again!
