maybe not of all time, but a bad idea on this one. i would never go in on something like this with more than one partner. if i did take a partner we would have a resale plan in place already. not "i have it on mon, wed, fri, and we both jam it on sunday" lol.

The guy who got it only placed one bid,no telling how high he was willing to go.
auctions like that are funny in a way because of the poor bidders who start low and watch it for weeks,never really having a chance.
I watched a '64 Vibrolux reverb end at over $2,700,when it had been around $1,300 for a long while.
these eBay auctions have also ruined finding good deals like we used to before the internet came along...it sucks.

heres a pic of Buddy Holly's 2nd strat. a 57. Image
the best thing about it is the pups r 50 years old. and no wear on the strat at all! His widow said i could keep it as long as its in a case
