i dont know the differences between the two. maybe find a spec sheet on both and that will give you a start.
there are still a lot of things we dont know here.
whats your budget? what wattage area do you want to stay in?
is reverb a required? will you be using pedals? are you open to solidstate amps?
is this gonna be a bedroom only application? will you be playing out using this amp in the future? we need as much info you can give us so we can help you get closer to your needs/goal

Don't know a lot about the Pro Jr., but both my Strat and my Epi Les Paul sound good through my Blues Jr., so it seems a versatile amp. Heck my acoustics sound pretty good through it, as long as I keep the preamp turned down and lay off the Fat switch.

From what I know, and that ain't too much, the Blues Jr will give you a far more 'restricted' sound to blues/rock. The Pro, I think, is a cleaner amp that can be manipulated more with pedals.................
Saying that, I assume there mus be someone here who knows the difference properly..............

The Blues Jr. has built in reverb, more tone controls, a larger speaker (12 inch instead of 10) and a Fat switch to thicken the tone. The Pro Jr. has no built in effects and is as simple as a small tube amp can be with only a volume and tone control.

I have owned both and still have a Pro Jr. It's a sweet sounding little amp that takes pedals well.

1.Around $500-$700.
2.Reverb,yeah i need it.
3.Of course i'll be using pedals
4.I can mostly use it for my bedroom application but can bring it out too. As i already have a Line 6 vavle 212 40watt with (2 large speakers) amp for small gigs and its too loud for my room. So i'll either choose one of the jrs.

Sounds like you just want a small amp for bedroom playing. Might I suggest Mustang I-IV. It has a lot of built in amps, a few different built in pedals, USB port to connect to the computer/internet, earphone jack, and line out.

I have a Mustang V head for now and in a few more months I'll get the cab. The III is 100 watts and the IV and V are 150 watts. If you want a smaller amp the I and II's are smaller and more quiet.

I owned an older G-dec, but had a hard time recording with it. I came close to getting a newer G-dec, but the Mustang V head was the same price and I have been looking for something to piss my neighbors with, especially the morning after one of their parties.

Actually the Mustang III is 100w 1-12" with a 2 button foot switch included The IV is 150w (2x75) 2-12" stereo with a 4 button included. the V is a 150w head (2x75) with a 4 button include and an optional 4-12" cabinet. I have a IV and love it. The III, IV, and V can use both 2 and 4 button switchs at the same time. They also include Fender Ampltube, Ambelton Live Lt Fender, and Fender Fuse software. If you have a computer that you can plug into the Fun really begins. I was actually going to buy the M-III but I got such a good deal on the IV that I couldn't pass it up. Tweaking the presets or sampling some of the stuff users have put on the Fuse Forum can eat up hours and put big grins on your face. Plus you can run some killer backing tracks thru the amp from a mp3 player or your computer. All that being said for a bedroom amp the Mustang III is Awesome M-I's and II's are good but the editing of presets can only be done on the computer. The big brothers have more controls on the amp to do editing.

if you willing to use a pedal for your overdrive then you might want to try the reverb Deluxe or VM version. you can also look at the egnater rebel20 and come out good too.
both capable of volumes low enough for home as well as playing out or mic'ed.
the egnater is good straight out of the box, no OD pedal needed, the other two i have no
long time experience with.

Small amp for bedroom practice... :?: :?
I don't see where anything larger than a 10 to 15 Watt amp is needed.

Have you considered the 600 Champ.. :?:
It is simple, 2 inputs, 1 vol. but once broken in it does very well for blues, RB, Rockabilly, Rock...etc.. All at a level that won't have the neighbors or housemates banging down your door..
