Okay, about a year ago now, I bought a 1997 Fender deluxe stratocaster (made in mexico) and it has the active pickups, I had planned to replace them with a nice set of lindy fralins or something bluesy, but after playing it like it is Ive fallen for these ones, they have nice smooth 60's sound to them. But my issue is the volume and boost pots (active circuit boost located where middle pickup tone normally is) have become scratchy and not very smooth. which pots should i use for replacements?[/img]
I wouldn't replace the pot just yet. Go to Caig and get a small spray can of Deoxit and/or Calilube. Spray in the hole where the solder lugs come out of the pot and then run the pot back and forth 10-20 times. Odds are good that this will cure your problem. Good luck!

Just click on the bottom line of my post and order direct. Sorry, that's the forum. Go here: www.Caig.com
