Hi all. #
Which are the best graph tech saddles to use?
Do the all black ones have more sustain than the chrome ones with the Teflon coated glides?

there is an argument waiting to happen.
some say they get more sustain some say its BS.
i think the camp is split 50/50 on that.

I have Graph Tech String Savers on EVERYTHING I own (12 Strats) and I LOVE them!!
No string breakage and NO change to my TONE!
I use the chrome ones , PG-8000- something, and noticed NO bad change in my tone!

Heck...I was even in touch with their very cute sales rep JUNE via FaceBook and she honored me with a spotlight in their comapny BLOG!!

Thanks for your useful thoughts guys.
Right from the start my standard strat had a light sounding first string. Not to distracting but after a few years tuning problems evolved with the trem. My tech filed off the burrs from the worn plate and added Graph Tech nut and string trees this sorted all problems except the 1st string issue now more noticable.
My thought was a bad saddle as this is the only part not changed.
