MIM fender strat 60's reverse headstock ?

They were a limited edition Model exclusive to Musicians friend and Guitar center. They were offered for about a year.They were offered in White and Black.

Regardless....I LOVE mine!
I've totally re-done her though.
She now has:
DiMarzio Injector (n)
DiMarzio Area 67 (m)
DiMarzio Virtual Solo (br.)
Graph Tech String saver saddles
AND....I didn't like the Maple neck and 7.5" radius....so.....
I put on a 2011 American Special Lefty Rosewood neck with a 9.5" radius.
Cosmetically...I like the reversed logo a lot more!
You gotta hear the sound on this baby now!!
This truly is my DREAM guitar !!

do you know how many were made ? i read somewhere that only 750 were made but i dont know if thats true or not. i thought about giving her an overhaul by putting vintage noiseless pups in along with a tbx control and a mid boost however i recently changed my mind cause i warmed up to the stock pups.

if you're happy with the stock pups....then more power to you!
I , personally, found them to be cheap, thin, and brittle.

Trust me , if you do make the change...you'll thank yourself!
This becomes a totally different, awesome guitar with a quality set of pickups installed!

I don't remember them being limited as in number but they were offered in unlimited numbers but for a limited time ( 1 year ). I remember towards the end Musicians Friend was blowing them out on Fender Fridays for like $399 IIRC.
