You want to built your guitare with 3 single coils and one Humbucker ?

Where do you want to put your humbucker, no place for that on a Strat ?

Give us some more information.

jack FFR1846, I don't think Fender have a diagram for 3 singles coils AND a humbucker in the same guitar.

I doubt that anybody does. That is certainly not a normal combination. Four pickups on a Strat would be awfully close to one and other so as to negate any distinctive sound variations between them, in my opinion.

Howdy and welcome to the forum!

How wonderfully bonkers! I would love to have a go at drawing up a wiring diagram for that lot. But as previously mentioned you'd need to provide me with some direction with regards to what switching you'd like (5 way or individual switches for each pickup etc) and tone controls (1 master tone I hope!)

I have a couple of diagrams for wiring up 5 single coils Lace Sensors. :D

There's a tonal difference between coils of a Humbucker once split. If the OP intends to spread out the Single coils I'm sure there would be a variation in tone. All depends on the placement.

Andy

Edit! Whoops! I almost forgot. To fit all those pickups in a Strat you'd need to make sure yours has a "Pool" style cavity route.

Check out Laurie MacKenzie of the Guess Who. http://www.theguesswhocafe.com/main.php (go to the Gallery for photos)

He has a humbucker inserted between the neck and middle pickups of a strat. I don't know anything else about the setup such as how it's wired or if some of the single coils are disabled. I saw them perform a few months ago and immediately noticed the odd looking strat.

Steve Morse of Deep Purple has a similar set up on his signature Music Man guitars
he uses H-S-S-H so you could have a look around their end.
