I do believe that I got the IMPORT Strat saddles for mine...the PG-8000-OC's.
I did that because the bridge assemblies are made in Mexico...and there is a slight hair difference in the widths.
I made the mistake once of getting 'regular' Strat String savers and my guitar guy had a fit!
Your guitars are relatively new so the chance of the bridge's being Mexican is very good!

Mexican=2 1/16" spacing
American= 2 3/16" spacing

Im pretty sure the bridge is made by ping which means it was made in Asia not mexico. The HWY1/American Special is unique in that it has the wider 2 3/16 mounting screw pattern but the spacing is 2 1/16

I have the HSS American Special too and I absolutely love it. I have the Special SSS too but I really prefer playing the HSS for its unique sound and Rosewood Fingerboard feel.. I guess guitars are like women .. It's all about personal taste.

Yep. I ended up buying the HSS Am Special and barely even look at my other guitars since then. The guitar might as well have been custom designed for me. The size and feel of the neck along with the jumbo frets is exactly what I wanted. The texas specials are what I love, and I have been extremely impressed by the Atomic Humbucker. I thought that I'd ditch the Atomic, but ended up loving it.
