Hi guys,
Can anybody help me to explain what a strange guitar do I have ?
I got it as a gift when I was 12 years old (now I am 21). My uncle buyed it in 1980.
It sounds better than any fender guitar I played.
Does anybody know any link were I could identify this guitar?

The pickup route is wrong for Squier. And the date doesn't fit with their beginning. I'd suspect far eastern manufacture. Maybe Futurama

:) this string tree have serious sound ... I have 5 USA Fender guitars (this one, Strat standard, Strat Plus, Tele Standard, Tele Thinline) ... this one is my first (hehe, never forgot the first) ... I dont play it a lot (I am a jazz musician), but when I want sound for Hendrix stuff ... I am happy to take it from a case :)

Those decals and imprints are obviously DIY. I stand by the Futurama prognosis

Thanks for link ... I read this (and many others) before. I know ... this guitar is very diferent from 64 Strat ... dating from SN is 65 ... stamps on neck is 64 ... bridge is from 80-ties ? ... tunes are not for standard fender ... just asking :)

I dont know this Futurama ... never played. I have this guitar for 10 years ... before this it is 15 years in case at my home... so it is "in house" more than 25 years ... and it was not bought new. This Futurama is some new stuff or older ?
