The earlier posts in this thread provide a part number. One of the members was able to order one. I'd suggest you pm that person and get specifics. If they used the same battery box in the new VG, perhaps one can purchase the battery holder apart from the box.

Roland Corp in Australia has stock of this part. The whole battery compartment and holder AU$23! A BARGAIN! Try your local Roland branch if Australia is a problem.
Cheers

Contact Roland and see if they're still producing these. It might be a valuable adjunct for you. I've put it off, but I'm likely going to do the same.

BH AUDIO has informed me that the CN-1 is likely still available on special order. I've requested them to confirm same on Monday and advise. Should it be the case, I will order one and advise you in kind . Personally, I am of the opinion that the use of this device is superior to using batteries and would likely be an attractive addition to the kit for any player interested in the guitar. Given the nature of contemporary stage gear, I find it unlikely that accessing AC current for its purpose would be a difficult task.

Regrettably, the product has been discontinued.

A 9V battery terminal to socket adapter lead is perhaps one of the simplest home electronics projects you could wish for. And not a bad thing to have in your gig bag (or multiples there of) should your pedal power supply go South.
