Hello guys just want to know did Fender make a strat with a three piece alder body ? Actually its a used item which i bought a few days ago and the neck plate stated a 50th anniversary model. Im quite confuse because its not a gold hardware and it's a montego black colour with rosewood fretboard. To make it clearly I want to post a photo of it. Can anyone know how to post the photo. Thanx and appreciate for those who give their view about this. cheers...

Here's some answers to your questions:

1. Sure; I would expect an American Deluxe to be either a 2-piece or a 3-piece body; I believe the 3-piece bodies are the norm. You'll only rarely find a non-CS Fender with a 1-piece body, and most CS are 2-piece or 3-piece bodies (but you can spec a 1-piece from the CS on a custom build).

2. "50th Anniversary of Fender" - Fender did several things for the Strat's 50th Anniversary in 2004. They had several special models for the anniversary (an MIM in a special finish; an American Series with an ash body, special pickups, and finish; an American Deluxe with gold hardware and the 50th logo on the pickguard; and a masterbuilt CS '54 Strat). They also put the "50th Anniversary" neck plate on all American Standards and American Deluxes built during 2004. Your guitar is a 2004 American Deluxe in Montego black so it has the "50th Anniversary" neck plate.

3. To post a photo you need to put them on some type of hosting site like photobucket, etc. Then just post the link with the [IMG] tags around it. There is an "Img" button in that row of buttons that starts with the "B" at the top of this page.
