If you could have the CS build you a strat what wood would you choose for the body. I personally would choose mahogany and have a one piece body made. I like mahogany because it has good weight (like heavy guitars) and resonates really good. Just as a note; When leo fender was designing the telecaster he initially wanted to use mahogany but choose not to because of the cost.
