So i finally got all the pedals in :D
I decided to make a cardboard mock-up of what im going to arrange them into (to figure out the cables, spacing, etc.), and after that, I figured why not take a picture of it for up here... I hope to have the real board done in a week or so! :D

You may want to look for these:
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Musician-s- ... 1128323.gc

I use them in my pedalboard and it spaces the pedals nicely, shortens the overall cable length, and I don't have to hide the patch cables. Makes for a much neater board. They also make them with offsets, so you can make the pedals line up if the jacks don't.

For me, I'd rather have some space inbetween to avoid stepping on the wrong pedal during gigs (size 12 feet).

Confused as to the order of the pedals - where is the tuner in this?

In my draft board?
it goes tuner (the white one) -> wah-fuzz -> dyna comp -> dyna drive -> super chorus

I have the tuner on the left cause because i'm a lefty, so the "input" to the board is on the left, from underneath, that way the cable doesn't have to cross in front of me, to reach the right side of the board. Also, the wah is on the right cause im right footed. (even tho im a lefty, i broke my leg when i was young and have been right footed since...)

So is "impeadance" just a fancy word for resistance, or am I a little slow?

16 Ga. Stainless Steel

Then I made an extension for the wah pedal. I've made several for friends and people I gig with occasionally.

ah, thanks for clarifying - being a lefty would explain the tuner on the left.

what power supply will you use? Looks like lots of good space underneath that 2nd row.

Finally have some pics of my pedal board. I apologize for the picture quality, they were taken with my cell phone. Built from a half of a bass case that I got from GC for $5 (Got the whole case for $5 and cut it in half when I got home), re-used the case hardware and modified the hinges so the "top" comes off. All cables and the power supply are under the "floor" of the board. Everything plugs in from the right side, including power. Since I'm not a fan of velcro (makes pedals feel "squishy") I've anchored them by using the same size screws that hold on the bottom plates of the pedals (only longer) and screwed up from underneath the board. Still room for a few more pedals.

My measley board. 3 of these 5, including the board itself, were purchased in the last 4 or 5 months. New to the pedal game, I guess you could say...

So far it's pretty solid. Definitely not an "everyday" pedal for me, but it's got it's time and place. So far, I've been enjoying it more when used with my TS-808.

I've since switched the board to run the TS-808 before the SP. With the TS not having a lot of low end, and the SP having uber amounts of it, they compliment eachother well. Honestly, it's down right bad $@! when put together.

The SP is just gnarley, chewy, snarling fuzz. It's so different from the others on my board, that's what I really like about it. If you haven't already, definitely check out some youtube demos of it to get an idea. I don't think it's a pedal that would appeal to everyone.

I simply drilled the side of the case and mounted 1/4" jacks. I cut the ends off of the input and output cables and soldered the 1/4" jacks in place of the regular end. The order of the jacks is front - to guitar or effects loop , middle - to amp input or effects loop, back - amp channel selector foot switch. I've been toying with the idea of replacing the 1/4" jacks with a cat6 connector and running a single cable from the pedal board to the amp, and using patch cables and the appropriate connectors to go from the cat6 to the amp.

Inside the board I fabricated an "extension cord" that has 1 outlet under the board for the one spot power supply, and a surface mounted pair of outlets, and used a "computer case" plug and cord to get power to the board. everything coils up and fits in the case, so I go to a gig, take the top off, plug and play.

Total cost for the case and connectors, probably around $20 (not including cables, pedals, and power supply)
