Hey guys, been looking for a strat for a while with not much luck - was on the verge of buying a new MiM standard when I stumbled on this little beauty. I plan to look at her later as i know the proof is in the pudding but it would put my mind at ease if you guys think its real? I've heard good things about Japanese Fenders without ever playing one :S. Love the finish.

Tried looking through the Fender website and they say they cannot deal with enquiries about serial numbers and used/vintage guitars?

If that is Q****** it could be 1993/1994, could do with more pics.
Could be a photoflame 60s reissue.

I have two MIJ Strats and one Tele.

Great guitars, very well made.

Photoflame edition, MIJ. A basswood body with an ash-veneered top, covered front and back by a decal. Not the most resonant of bodies.
