Did Fender ever make a strat with a two piece headstock? I've had one for over 25 years (in a cupboard!)thats been totally modded before I bought it back then. Decided to resurrect it to it's former glory and first thing I noticed - two piece headstock - the large style. Did Fender ever make them or this this a copy???

In 45 years playing Fenders, I've never seen nor heard of one.

Sounds like a copy to me.

ive seen lots of fender copies with 2 piece heads... never a fender tho... normaly if the copy is well made you might only be able to see the join after a couple of years...
