thinking of putting a set on my 2008 Antigua Strat--any thoughts-which kind and will they fit with no modifications--i dont want to modify or drill anything--thanks

Gotoh locking Kluson styles should be a direct repacement; I think that Fender is using the non-locking Gotoh Klusons. The locking ones are the "self-locking" Magnum style - they kind of have a cam-shaped "post inside a post", you pull the string through and the cam inside grabs the string and locks it in as you turn the key with a peg winder. I had those tuners on a Grosh guitar several years ago and they work well.

Got to ask...having tuning issues? My EC Strat has never had a problem at all with tuning stability and I play blues and do lots of string bending.

no problems just like the locking tuners after getting them on my Amer. Deluxe and 2 prs guitars
