I need a strat that will give me a good humbucker sound as well as the SRV neck pickup tone and the bridge-mid knopfler tone. I am tired of changing from Strat to Les Paul all the time when we play live. I was looking at the HSS deluxe Strat but I really don't like to color on any of them. If they did olympic white instead of pearl white I would have ordered that color. So I looked into this guitar on musicians friend.

It has great reviews and I like the color too. Has anyone owned on of these strats? Any comments? Thanks

I nearly bought this guitar. Out of all the guitars I auditioned, it was my favorite to play and I kept going back to it. But the color was too close to my Guild and I wanted something different so I went with an Am Dlx. I seriously doubt you would regret getting the Select, but you need to play it to decide. My local GC has one, I play it every time I go in, just played it this morning. Nice guitar.
