Any shootout out there of all noiseless strat pickups currently available? Quite a few choices to consider.

I don't know of any "shoot-outs" per se. But a friend of mine plays his Kinman-equipped Strat through a brownface '62 Fender Concert Amp -- sounds heavenly!

My noiseless pickup experience includes Fender's SCN's and the DiMarzio Virtual Vintage series (two Strats with each brand). Both types sound ballsy but I give the nod to the DiMarzio's as sounding slightly "strattier".

The Kinman (Trad Mk III or Impersonator) are on my shortlist for sure. They may well be the choice I'll end up going for. The winner for me would be the most authentic (clean) vintage strat tone minus the hum.

I'm pretty sure my buddy has the Mk III's. I wish I could do a side-by-side comparison of his guitar with one of my DiMarzio Strats. Whenever I jam with him I always seem to bring along my ash hardtail with Fender's Fat '50s or a Les Paul.

I have a set of Kinman Blues in one of my Strats and they are very nice pickups indeed. In comparison, the Vintage Noiseless pickups in my US Deluxe Strat sounded compressed and for want of better words, lacking in character to my ears.
