Has anyone tried the Knopfler Strat? I like a thin neck, so any comments on the neck would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Hi the mark knopfler strat is a great guitar. The neck on these strats are like the 62 vintage strats. Just a bit thicker than the am std strat i think. they are a c shaped neck a 7.25" radius fretboard. The am std has a radius of 9.5" fretboard. What this means is that a 7.25" fretboard is easy to play chords on but not so easy to bend notes. But the 9.5" radius fretboard like whats on the am std strat are good for chords and great for bending the strings. By the way i own a mark konpfler strat and its a great sounding guitar . Hope this helps..Cheers..From..Aus...

Another significant difference between the MK and most vintage-spec Fender re-issue Strats is that the Knopfler has an ash body, which in conjunction with the pickups and the rosewood furniture makes for a particularly articulate and tasty tone.

This board is great! So glad I found it.

I am really concerned with the 9.25 radius. I have small hands and I do a lot of bending. I really like a thin neck. If the neck is such that it is set up better for chording than bending then I may not like it. Of course if I order one from Musicians Friend and don't care for it I can always just send it back.

Thanks again.

Yep, one of the reasons I went for an American Standard in Sienna Sunburst. Apart from it looks amazing it has a swamp ash body and the maple fretboard on those is gorgeous.
