Tried the search engine 1st and didn't do any good.
I'm looking into GCs "allparts tremolno" due to the 3 position capabilities...
1. Trem active
2. Dive only
3. Trem locked
I read their PDF and it shows ALL Fender and Wilkinson trems using the "pin type", as opposed to large clamp or small clamp type.

Anyone here experienced with this device?
Just need to know if the pin type is correct for my American Deluxe.
Thanks in advance for any info anyone can render here!

Ok looking at this page

http://www.tremol-no.com/products.asp

It looks like you need the unit on the top of the page. The pin clips into the tremolo block, the plate pushes onto the tremolo block wall. The claw section goes where the claw of your existing tremolo goes.

However I recommend you contact the Tremol-no manufacturers to be sure.

wow, I feel like a duh! ..... and thanks for injecting some common sense here.
I don't post here often because my Fenders are the LEAST problem prone guits I own, but i've become so reliant on info from other forums that I forget about contacting the mfgrs.

BTW, I own lots of guitars from several big name makers, and my Am.Dlx.Strat is the one I enjoy playing the most, planning on buying another this coming Sept.
