I can never decide and my taste is constantly changing. For some odd reason, it depends on the model of strat as well for me.

Right now I can't get the new 08' American standard in electric white out of my head! I think I'll go check it out again now!

Sonic Blue, Maple Fretboard. You can't go wrong with that. It ages so beautifully too.

Gonna buy myself a $@! 57 reissue with sonic blue maple neck - I have a custom shop 50s relic in sonic blue.

I like black or sunburst. But then again...I'm left-handed, so sometimes buying off the shelf is a crap shoot.

(But, I also love my '68 reissue with its clear coat as well....good lookin' guitar.)
